Just was thinking about programs I loved. This was one of them. Of course they don't give it a chance. Who really is judging this stuff? TV you need to look at a bigger picture. Stop getting rid of programs because they are not scoring enough. Advertise them better. Really ten lines is too much to say. Bring it back. I am sure there are a lot if programs people really loved and have been cut due to not not enough people watching because they didn't know about them. There are so many programs on TV that need to be removed and yet they survive. This program was different and interesting. What do you want me to say, this was a great program, better than the majority if crap on at the moment. Dies this really make a difference. Is my review going to bring it back. No! I would just like the networks to stop removing really great programs. I have sat through 2 episodes of this show and have concluded that it is really bad. The story line, the acting, the tech. The acting is way over the top, especially by John Billingsley, who plays Dr. Shenandoah Cassidy, inventor of the chip inside Gabriel's head. He appears clownish and over the top all the time, a caricature of mad scientists in bad movies. Meghan Ory (Agent Riley Neal)refers to the director (Marg Helgenberger) of the fictional Cyber Command by her fist name, something top notch secret service agents would not do except maybe in private. The characters are flat and lifeless and inspire no empathy. Josh Holloway (Gabriel Vaughn) comes across as whining and arrogant. In the second episode he barges into the director's office demanding to see her. I know he a "special" case but his arrogance would get him in trouble in a real world setting. I can suspend my reality for a good story with good character but it is impossible to do with Intelligence. Watching this show leaves me feeling far from intelligent. Put a laugh track on this a spin it as a comedy. I am not sure if this supposed to be CBS' answer to Almost Human (FOX, Mondays, 8pm EST) but it misses by a long shot. I expected something more from the network that brought us NCIS and and NCIS:LA.
